Plain-English summary

  • Your family's content is private by default — nothing is indexed, sold, or shown to anyone outside your portal.
  • Each family's data is isolated by tenant ID at every layer. Other families on the platform cannot read your data.
  • We collect only what's required to operate the service: account email, content you add, and routine technical logs.
  • You can export or delete your family's data at any time.
  • We use SMTP for email, do not run third-party trackers in the portal, and do not embed ad networks.

Data we store

Email addresses, password hashes (bcrypt), member profiles, family tree data, uploaded photos and documents, content you write (stories, recipes, forum posts, messages), event records, and the access/audit logs needed to operate and secure the platform.

Where your data lives

Each tenant's uploads and database rows are stored in a tenant-scoped namespace. Backups are encrypted at rest. Custom-domain HTTPS uses Let's Encrypt or cPanel AutoSSL.
